uitk-spacing-padding-blockend-one\">Grant and I have just returned from the most fabulous stay in this property and would absolutely recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Spilia. The house is stunning and served as such a beautiful and cosy home from home. The garden and pool were perfect and the most relaxing of places to spend the day and\/or evening. The pool is large enough to take a daily swim or just to cool down in after lounging in the sun on the comfy sun beds. It\u2019s also great that it\u2019s free of chemicals! The house and gardens are so tranquil and served as little oasis in which we really wound down and relaxed. Mani was an unbelievable host and went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best holiday. He was on hand to give us advice re the local trips that we took and also provided scrumptious local foods for us on our arrival. It\u2019s difficult to describe how beautiful this place is and we will definitely be returning and recommending it to friends and family. Thank you so much for having us. We saw the photos firstly and the reviews which were unbelievable and that\u2019s it!! When we arrived we saw many differences at the villa. The Villa is more beautiful than the photos!!! New fence, new doors, new garage area, what a surprise!!! The pool of course as every guest mentioned is fantastic! Manolis informed us that he also changed all the mattresses. We had such a nice sleep!! 10 days resting, eating, and drinking local wine. We also had the opportunity to meet Manolis who gave us many ideas for things to do during this no-tourist period. Manolis was (as all the reviews mention) very generous and he make as feel like home! The upstairs patio area with sun shade is great &#8211; with fantastic views out over the sea. The kitchen is well stocked including washing stuff (as well as the clothes washing machine). The villa has everything you may need. 1)Privacy!Nobody can bother you.The entrance of the house is near a pricate family road. 2)You can feel isolated but a few steps away there are 2 grate tradisional taverns for foodbor drink. 3) The pool is very Big for 2 people,is salted and it is heated!!!!!!When we booked we didn\u2019t know it!!! 4) Manolis\u2026He didn\u2019t charve anything more for the amenity of the heated pool and he did\u2026Everything we could ask from an owner..Tips,kindness and the feeling you can base on him if anything happens.We travel.a lot and all these things are what you search! The welcome pack was also unexpected. We have never seen anything similar. The house is beautiful &amp; in a perfect location at the traditional village of Spilia close to lots of lovely beaches and taverns.. The pool is salted and we really enjoyed it, we have never stayed into the pool so much.Manolis was so lovely \u2013 we have never stayed with such fantastic host before.I would recommend this villa to every couple or small family for relaxing. The villa is perfect for 2 people, with a fabulous garden, encompassing a large pool and 2 seating areas. It is very difficult to find something this good for 2 people, it is almost unique. The villa is in a great location on the Western side of Crete, and is within driving distance of many beaches, including some of Crete\u2019s most famous ones. It is situated in the charming village of Spilia and is within walking distance of two good tavernas. The city of Chania with its picturesque harbour is only 30 minutes drive away with Chania airport being another 10 minutes on. The best thing about this villa is the owner, Manolis. He goes out of his way to ensure you have a great holiday, and is there to meet all your needs. He is extremely kind and helpful, without being intrusive. We have travelled to many places across the world and this is the only villa we have stayed in twice which reflects just how much we like it. I know you will too. His booklet full of recommendations was really useful as well, we did\/saw\/ate lots that we wouldn\u2019t have known about without it. The photos don\u2019t do the villa justice, it\u2019s very private and the flowers and bell tower and mountains in the distance make the most beautiful peaceful surroundings. The pool was wonderful, big enough for a proper swim &#8211; we also enjoyed the occasional visits from the many local cats! The inside is quiet, clean and comfortable &#8211; we both slept the best we have in ages! House is huge, 3 bedrooms, big living room, kitchen is on the small side but has everything. We didn&#8217;t even go into the pool house but I believe people can sleep there as well. Terrace outside with the garden is really nice and spacious. Pool is fantastic and clean. Manolis (the manager) was great, he welcomed us at the house, gave us a few tips and was ready to help whenever needed. Location of the house is in a tiny village, it&#8217;s surrounded with houses of local people but they keep to themselves and don&#8217;t bother you with anything. Having a car is almost a must because the closest store is 5min drive away down the hill. August bis zum 1. September 2022 in diser Villa. Sir befindet sich in mitten eines kleinen Dorfes. 3 verschiedene Lokalit\u00e4ten kann man von dort zu Fu\u00df schnell erreichen! Der Strand ist lediglich 10 Minuten mit dem Auto, ein Supermarkt 5 Minuten und ein etwas gr\u00f6\u00dferer auch nur 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Die Villa bietet ausreichend Platz f\u00fcr 2 Personen. Man hat die M\u00f6glichkeit dort dazu kochen, W\u00e4sche zu waschen, zu grillen, oder einfach nur entspannen. Im Au\u00dfenbereich befindet sich ein gro\u00dfer Pool mit mehreren liegem\u00f6glichkeiten. Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist, bekommt man einen eigenen Parkplatz im Schatten. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn man etwas braucht, reicht eine kurze Nachricht und er reagiert, beziehungsweise hilft sofort. Falls man allerdings reine Privatsph\u00e4re genie\u00dfen m\u00f6chte, kann man das dort auch sehr gut! Niemand st\u00f6rt, wenn man das nicht m\u00f6chte! Der K\u00fchlschrank wurde reichlich gef\u00fchlt, uns hat es die ersten Tage an nichts gefehlt! Der Pool wurde regelm\u00e4\u00dfig gereinigt und auch die Villa wurde alle 4 Tage gereinigt und Bettw\u00e4sche ,sowie Handt\u00fccher gewechselt! Wir k\u00f6nnen die Unterkunft nur empfehlen! This was an unbelievably well executed Holiday stay from check-in to check-out. First, about the host. He\u2019s incredible! Affable, earnest, helpful, flexible, and a wonderful person with whom to interact. He takes your vacation stay seriously and sees to it personally that you have a wonderful time. There\u2019s a notebook in the villa of what to do and where to go with his recommendations. You arrive and the refrigerator is stocked with treats and local specialties. He\u2019s responsive to inquiries\/requests and flexible to your preferences. This is the host I want for every VRBO, forever. He\u2019s really that good. The villa itself is gorgeous. The little village of Spilia is wonderful! Partially up the mountain with views to the Mediterranean (from the villa\u2019s back yard!). A couple of delicious local taverns within walking distance. 1km up the hill is the cave\/historical attraction\/Orthodox church of St. John the Hermit. The villa itself was pristine, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The pool was an extravagance our daughters enjoyed daily. There\u2019s an outdoor downstairs table set in the shade of the upstairs balcony with views of the town, mountains, and sea; we ate at that table daily. The furnishings are attractive, comfortable, as pictured, and exactly what I would wish for on this type of stay. Air conditioners by room let everyone set their preference for comfort. And the location gave us 30-60 minute driving access to pretty much everything the prefecture of Chania has to offer, from Southwest beaches (e.g. Elafonissi) to old town Chania proper. We chose this villa because every review seemed to rave about how great the place was. They were spot on. If you\u2019re considering a stay in\/around Chania, I wouldn\u2019t even consider another location.
